Making a car

Dolf, an EAL learner, has chosen to work outside and alone.

He uses crates, tyres and other materials within the enabling environment to construct a car. He shows high levels of engagement and involvement. He moves and handles, safely negotiating space. He demonstrates clear understanding of the need for four tyres, verbalising his need for 'one more' which is outside the area in which he is working. He demonstrates his understanding of the world and is imaginative. In terms of effective learning, he creates and thinks critically.
