Grouping strategies

A high school teacher reflects on her role in managing the formation of pupils working groups in her lessons and the grouping strategies which she uses.

She considers some advantages associated with different sorts of groupings for collaborative tasks _ mixed ability/ability groups, mixed/single gender groups, and haphazard or self-chosen groups.
