Giving students the language of assessment

Patricia Broadfoot talks about how teachers can give students the language of assessment so that students become autonomous learners who are able to evaluate their own work.

For teachers this does not mean more work but working in a different way. Making students more effective learners is also a more effective way of covering the curriculum or a subject syllabus.
