Developing success criteria _ movement and dance

A year 6 class are exploring mood and character in paintings.

It can be difficult to specify the success criteria for learning intentions such as this. The children have been replicating the figures from Lowry's paintings in charcoal sketches and then through modelling the figures with their own bodies. The teacher photographs the children and then develops the success criteria through a discussion of these photographs.
