A differentiated approach to assisting bilingual language learners

Vietnamese children join a bilingual school with a wide variation in their English skills, we see how all are supported.

Using a year 6 example, we see how some Vietnamese children are withdrawn from English literacy before their re-integration with relevant support. Enabling all to access the full curriculum in bothe English and Vietnamese is discussed and illustrated.
